Bidding Tip #2

If you hold two five-card suits:

1. Open with the higher ranking suit
2. Respond in the higher ranking suit
3. Overcall in the higher ranking suit.

Do not worry about which is the stronger suit !

You hold: ♠x ♥J10xxx ♦AKQxx ♣Kx

1. Open 1♥, not 1♦
2. Respond 1♥ to an opening 1♣ bid
3. Overcall 1♥ if the opening bid to your right is 1♣ (or consider using a Michaels cue bid in this situation)
