Covid Traffic light policy
The attached is a framework that the Queenstown Bridge Club committee has decided to implement after reviewing the government’s and NZ Bridge’s new Covid policy. To see the official NZ Government policy guidelines issued 27 January 2022, click here.
We appreciate everyone is fed up with Covid-19 impacting our lives. Unfortunately, whether we agree or disagree with the Government rules they are the rules that dictate our behaviour.
To gain entry to the Queenstown Events Centre under the Orange traffic light level there is a requirement to have a My Vaccine Pass and a mask needs to be worn until you reach the bridge room upstairs.

NZ Bridge policy |
With My Vaccine Passes unlimited players can participate in sessions.
Without My Vaccine Passes 1m distancing required. |
With My Vaccine Passes unlimited players can participate in sessions.
Without My Vaccine Passes a maximum of 12 tables can be played with 1m distancing required. |
With My Vaccine Passes sessions can be run with 1m distancing required.
Without My Vaccine Passes a maximum of 6 tables can be played with 1m distancing required. |
QBC Covid policy |
All sessions members participating will be required to have a valid My Vaccine Pass.
There will be no restrictions and on Tuesday the bar can be opened. |
